Most coffee shops buy pre-roasted beans from a distributor and call it a day. We don't. Every bag of green coffee beans that comes through Strata gets roasted in our own micro roastery — by hand, in small batches, with obsessive attention to each roast profile.
Ty is the roastmaster behind it all. He'll spend an unreasonable amount of time dialing in a single origin bean, chasing a flavor note that most people would never notice. That's the point. You notice it in the cup.

High-Grade Green Beans
We only buy from farmers and distributors we trust. Not every supplier makes the cut — we look at farm practices, bean grading, and how they treat their workers.
Global Origins
Light roasts from bright, high-altitude farms. Dark roasts with depth and body. Single origins that showcase a region. We rotate what's available, so ask your barista what's fresh.
Small Batch Roasting
We don't roast hundreds of pounds at once. Small batches mean more control, fresher coffee, and the ability to dial in each origin exactly the way it deserves.
Balanced Mineral Water
The water you use to brew matters as much as the bean. We use mineral-balanced water that brings out clarity and sweetness rather than masking it.

Our roasting capacity goes beyond what we serve at the bar. We currently roast beans for other coffee businesses in the Texas Panhandle — including 13/30 Coffee in Canyon, Texas — and we're open to conversations with other shops looking for a local, reliable roasting partner.

Water is the most important ingredient in coffee, and most people never think about it. We did. After extensive research and experimentation, we found the ideal mineral balance and filtration process to brew the best possible cup — and to bottle water worth drinking on its own.
Available in-store: 750ml bottles, bottled right here by Strata. Reverse osmosis, UV light, carbon filtered, then select minerals added back in.

We sell our freshly roasted beans in 12oz glass jars. Keep the jar for something else, or bring it back and we'll knock $1 off your refill. Ask your barista which roasts are available — it changes as we bring in new origins.
